Accommodation and venue

The conference will take place at the vacation center VVF Blériot-Plage and the nautical base Tom Souville in Blériot. 

For accomodation, you will be sharing  a two bedroom bungalow with a second participant. Note that each bedroom has its own bathroom. For all requests regarding accommodation, please feel free to contact us at

The address of the VVF vacation center is  Route Nationale, 62231 Blériot-Plage. 

Train acces: 

Gare de Calais Ville (9 minutes by car, 60 minutes by foot from the VVF vacation center). It's the closest train station to the VVF center but the TGV does not stop here. 

Gare de Calais Fréthun (15 minutes by car from the VVF vacation center). 

• The  TGV arrives directly at this train station. 

Local bus (line 3)

 A local bus runs from  Gare de Calais Ville  to the VVF vacation center (bus stop "Base de Voile"). 

Our train schedule suggestion if you come from Paris on Sunday:

• Departure Paris : 13h51 → Arrival Gare Calais Fréthun : 15h43 (TGV direct).
• Departure Paris : 15h20 → Arrival Gare Calais Ville : 17h55
• Departure Paris : 16h47 → Arrival Gare Calais Fréthun : 18h53 (TGV going through Lille).
  

We will provide buses to go from the Calais Frethun train station to the vacation center, on Sunday late afternoon and from the vacation center to Calais Fréthun on Friday around noon. The exact time timetable for these buses depends on the participant arrival and departure time and will be announced in March.
